MICU New Website Wins National Marketing Award

LOOMINGTON, IL – The Credit Union National Association (CUNA)  recognized Mid-Illini Credit Union (MICU) with a national Diamond Award for website marketing during their annual conference held recently in New Orleans, LA. The Diamond Awards recognize the best in Marketing and Business Development for credit unions across the country.

In September, 2011, Mid-Illini Credit Union (MICU) launched a re-designed website featuring more information, easier navigation and an updated design. In November, MICU started publishing a blog.

“The site map and all of the content on our new site were developed in house,” said Julie Workman, MICU’s Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. “The Diamond Awards are very prestigious within the industry. These awards are highly competitive and the scoring is rigorous. To be recognized at this level, by our peers, is a tremendous honor.”

The CUNA Diamond Awards entries are judged on strategy, design and production, creative concept, copy and communication, as well as results. The 2012 competition received more than 1,100 entries from across the country.
