How It Works
“It works” are the operative words here--you don’t. Shoppers don't have to load special software or open a digital wallet. Verified by Visa keeps it simple for MICU members.
Once your card is activated, your card number will be recognized whenever you buy at a participating online store. You’ll enter your password in the Verified by Visa window, your identity will be verified, and the transaction will be completed. In stores that are not yet participating in Verified by Visa, your Visa card will continue to work as usual.

Zero Liability
Call Visa promptly if you suspect fraud. You won't be liable for unauthorized use of your card. Call Visa 24 hours a day at 800.322.8472. Then call Mid-Illini at 309.661.1166 during business hours. Your card will be blocked and a new card will be issued.
