It’s easy to become a partner in Mid-Illini Credit Union! Just come in and fill out an application, sign a proxy card and open your share/savings account with $5 or more. The $5 stays there so you can remain a member. Once you’re a member, you’re always a member. And, remember, you’re not a dollar sign, but a partner who can help fellow members build strong financial foundations.

Don’t live or work in McLean County?
Even if you don’t live or work in McLean County, we’ll still welcome you into the MICU partnership. Talk to us about joining Midwest Dollars for Scholars Foundation, a select associated group that awards scholarships to high school seniors. You can join for as little as $5 and be eligible for MICU membership.

Does your company want to join the MICU family?
Membership is a great benefit for company employees. A credit union is a cooperative, not-for-profit institution chartered by the state or federal government to provide low-cost financial services with rates and terms that are often better than other financial institutions. We offer helpful services, such as direct deposit, as well as valuable financial education that may be the best fringe benefit you can provide to your team.

At MICU, we encourage all members to save regularly, then we work together to help members build a solid financial foundation. This includes offering financial planning and counseling.  Let us help your workforce become financially healthy.

Is becoming a Company Partner complicated?
Not at all! Simply type a letter on company stationery requesting to become a select employee group. Include the number of employees and your intention to make payroll deduction and direct deposit available. Click here and we’ll take you through the process step by step.
